Install the Plugin
Installing Uber Audio is simple. You have two options:
Via FTP: Unzip the 'uber_audio' folder and upload it into the wp-content/plugins folder on your server.
Via Wordpress: Navigate to Plugins > Add New> Upload and upload the zipped up 'uber_audio' folder.
Activate Uber Audio
Now that you've installed the plugin, you need to activate it. Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and click 'Activate' under the Uber Audio plugin. So far so good. Keep up the good work!
Head on over to the 'Uber Audio' section in the menu to your left. Then create a new playlist. Once you have decided on a playlist title you can upload tracks below. Simply click the upload button for a track.
Upload a Audio Track
Once you've clicked upload you have the option to drag and drop files into the dotted box or click 'Select files' and you can browse for the files on your local computer.
Title and Insert Audio
Now that you have uploaded a audio track you can insert the track into the admin. By default your 'Title' field will populate with the audio files name. You can change the name as this will show up in the playlist. Once you've made sure all your data is correct you can click 'insert into post' and the audio file will populate into the Uber Audio Playlist Manager.
Now you are ready to add the Uber Audio to your post or page. Navigate to Pages > Add New. There you will see an icon with the Über Audio logo in the tool bar. Click that and it will open a dialog box.
Here is where you will configure your post or page player settings. First select the playlist you would like to show in your Über Audio player. (If you haven't created a playlist click 'Add a Playlist'.) Then select your primary and secondary colors. You can select the colors from the color picker or add the HEX values in the text field. Choose from a light theme or dark theme and specify a player width. Then you can chose if you want the playlist showing or not. That's it!
Now you are ready to add the Uber Audio widget to your sidebar. Navigate to Appearance > Widgets. There you will see the 'Uber Audio Player'. Just drag and drop the widget into a sidebar to your right.
